You'll have no trouble finding haute-couture shops in Monte Carlo and there's a large, multistory upscale mall. "Centre Commercial de Fontvieille" -- it's accessible by elevator from Place d'Armes. Souvenir shops sell a variety of keepsakes such as Prince Rainier III/Princess Grace collector's plates and, in keeping with the principality's tumultuous history, reproductions of medieval swords and other weaponry. Porcelain dolls, some of which are also mechanical, are popular as well.
