Stress And Dry Skin

Stress And Dry Skin

for dry skin home remedies, care and treatments!

I've noticed that I always break out when I have big reports due for work.

Is that normal?

I'm sick of feeling like a 13-year-old!?

Stress is probably the least-considered factor in skin care. When you come home from a long, hard day at work, how old do you feel? That feeling translates to your bodys physiology itself, and stress can wear down your skin just as it wears down your sanity. When you're stressed, you tend to frown more, to squint more, to furrow your eyebrows, to rest your face in your hands, and make any number of small physical gestures that can negatively affect your skin.

One of the more obvious effects of long-term stress is hair loss, but hair loss is actually a skin problem. Stress can cause certain follicles to malfunction or stop working, which means they may just let go of the hair. Lack of sleep due to a tense environment can make your face appear puffy and cause circles under your eyes. Stress can also cause you to abandon your usual routine because of exhaustion or inconvenience.

But you cant just let go of your lifestyle, right? Right, but you can make some improvements. Promise yourself youll rise above whatever stressful situations come your way. You may get sucked in at first, but if you can take a quick breather, walk away, and even try to smile into a mirror, you can go at the situation with an active and positive outlook thats much less stressful to your body and skin. Dont let dramas usurp your routine, either. Eating right, exercising, sleeping sufficiently, and taking care of yourself are big helpers in counteracting stress and coming at taxing situations with a clear head.
