How To A Look For the Office
Things to Consider...-the shade of your eyes. (This will effect how the colors work for you.)
-the tools that you use to apply the shadow
-how much shadow you use (the more layers, the more intense the color)
-the shape of your eyes
-your age group
While it might seem strange to use yellow shadow on your eyes, you will be amazed at how it blends away and the green of your eyes seems even lighter. I chose these of colors for green eyes, but I found that it also worked for my shade of brown.
Difficulty: N/A
Time Required: N/A
Here's How:
1. Eye Shadow: a medium shade of yellow blended over the entire eye area. Be sure to blend well. No lines should be visible.
2. Eye Liner: a dark gray blended along the lash line, growing wider as it reaches the end of the eye and sweeps around to the lower lashes.
3. Mascara: a light coat of black to thicken the lash line.
4. Blush: a sandy brown pink. Be sure to blend well. There is nothing worse than long streaks of color.
5. Lips: if you don't have a peachy brown shade, try combining two lipsticks until it looks perfect. I do this all the time and create different shades as I need them. A touch of gloss to the bottom lip is the finishing touch.
Tips:
- I have found that finding the perfect colors is often more important than a new technique. I don't want anyone noticing my makeup. With the right colors, this is possible.
- You will notice that no secondary color was used on the brow bone. If this doesn't work for you, a touch of a brown shadow to the bone will lift the area.
